Manual Handling (Including Patient Handling) Refresher Course

Aim: To ensure staff meet the requirements of mandatory Manual / Patient Handling up-skilling. This is a refresher course for those who have completed the full day training within the past 2 1/2 – 3 years. Proof (certificate) of this is required.

Please note that this is a refresher course.

  • Prior to attending the training, you must have completed the theory section online and send a copy of completion in advance to claire.coakley@stlukeshome.ie . Please also have a copy with you on the day of the training (digital or paper copy is fine). If you do not have this completed, you will not be able to participate in the training on the day. The online training must be completed no longer than 6 weeks before the classroom training.
  • You must  also have attended classroom based training within the last 3 years
